Helen is just what you hope for when you book an Airbnb.
She is warm and friendly. Her cottage is in a perfect location and it’s just as it looks online. The bed was super comfortable and we slept well.

I stayed here with 2 friends for the weekend and it was a lovely cottage great location for exploring the surrounding area. The beds are very comfortable, really clear instructions and there was some lovely personal touches. Helen was very friendly and responsive would recommend and hopefully will stay again with my family.

Helen was by far the best host I’ve ever had with Airbnb. She constantly went the extra mile to make my husband's 40th birthday weekend extra special from putting up banners to getting him a card and Prosecco! She was so helpful regarding my 15 month old too. Nothing was too much trouble - she even had a stair gate!

We really enjoyed our stay at Helen’s cottage . It was very comfortable and stylish with everything you need . Wirksworth is a pretty and quirky village with a few nice places for food and drinks and some nice independent little shops ! Helen is a great host who was very friendly and accommodating.

Fryers Cottage is a hidden gem right in the heart of Wirksworth, a favourite place of ours. We have visited many times now and this gorgeous cottage is definitely a place we would love to stay in again. Clean, comfortable and cosy, the cottage was well equipped and had lots of character, with the added benefit of being within easy walking distance of the town. It's an ideal place to explore the fabulous Peak District from.

We had a lovely long weekend here. The cottage is beautifully appointed and super cosy. Wirksworth and the surrounding countryside was just what we needed for a few days. Will be back!

A really cute little cottage close to the centre of town. Good location for exploring the area. Nice walk up to the quarry at the top of the hill. Good selection of extras to make you feel welcome tea, coffee etc.​

Fryers Cottage was very beautiful and in a perfect location to explore the village and nearby villages too. Lots of walking routes nearby! The house was very cute and cosy we would definitely stay again

We had SUCH a beautiful time staying at Fryers Cottage. The location is wonderful, being so close to the centre of Wirksworth you have easy walking access to lovely pubs and restaurants as well as a super cute mini cinema! We thoroughly enjoyed all the stunning walks around Wirksworth and through the peaks. The cottage was equipped with everything we could have wanted. The wood fired stove in the sitting room was also the cherry on top of the cake, it made for very cosy and autumnal evenings. We will absolutely be coming back here again!

What a perfect little cottage! The interior is beautifully done, with everything we needed for a good break. We loved our stay in this quiet corner of Wirksworth, with everything so handy to walk to. Black Rocks is in walking distance and Cromford Mills just a few minutes drive, the cottage is a brilliant base to explore the Matlock area. We'll be back!
